World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the gear score of an item up to 700 and add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like perfect broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition some weapons come with a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. This bonus may be greater than the damage a weapon upgrade alone can cause.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue to increase until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of their base. This is usually a positive thing, but it can also have negative consequences. In the case of items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example), upgrading them may make them unusable unless you happen to have an extremely fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their performance. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to roll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their respective values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the item menu. This will roll an item and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few tweaks to your armor could make a an enormous difference in your ability to endure. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to get through difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense you have for your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.
To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid environments with a lot of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded to +20 defense so that you're able to survive a battle with friends.
Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll need to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of Mage. Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For example splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the item hover display). The table of potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be used in cauldrons. The same applies to using a potion in a cauldron that is full. This will drain the potion and refill the bottle.
In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. Trinkets
